SARG is always looking for help in temperament assessing at the local animal shelter, fostering and caring for animals as we work to find new homes. Your small commitment can make a big difference to the lives of our these abandoned and homeless animals. We are also seeking energetic and passionate volunteer to join our committee . Successful fundraising activities allow us to help more animals find their forever homes.
If you can’t spare the time, we are also always looking for donations to assist with our rising running costs. Any donations of tinned and dry food, collars, leads, bedding and blankets would be greatly appreciated.
In May 2011 SARG was granted endorsement as a “Deductible Gift Recipient” by the Australian Taxation Office. What this means is any donation made to SARG over $2.00 is a tax deduction. We are a Registered Animal Welfare Charity.
We are also able to accept monetary bequests as donations to SARG. Please contact us to discuss this matter further.
SARG has an obligation to ensure that all animals that have been placed in foster care are fully vet worked prior to rehoming. This may vary in cost from $70 - $300 (or greater for sick and injured animals) - any cash donations would be warmly welcomed.
